Several grains, in addition to corn, are grown each year.  These include wheat, oats, and spelts.  The annual wheat harvest in July with the reaper/binder is one of the most colorful events at the Farm.  In the fall the wheat is threshed using a large steam engine or a tractor to power the belt driven thresher.
