March 16, 2002

By the end of this week the 1920s extension area was supported by interior cribbing along the east wall and by interior and exterior cribbing supporting beams and jacks on the north wall.

March 23, 2002

By March 23, if not earlier, the hay mow of the 1920s extension had had interior scaffolding installed along the north and east walls.

April 13, 2002

By this date the interior of the 1920s extension had scaffolding along both exterior walls and several pieces of bracing lumber had been fastened between studs. The door in the peak of the haymow had been removed. The hinges were not fastened into anything that would hold them. The door will be rebuilt. Along the north wall the plate is in bad shape and it was apparent that work was being done making ready to replace it.

In the 1920s fill mow the work of bracing the walls continued. The plate at the north east corner of the north wall was repaired.

April 27, 2002
In the mow level the work contined on stabilizing the north side. The cribbing was raised so that two beams project into this area just above the floor and under the horizontal stabilizing planks on the north wall interior.

November 30, 2002
During the previous week the concrete floor was removed and work was done on the foundation for the north wall.
