The trenching was filled in. During the day on May 5 Thom Livingston shaped and laid stones at the northeast corner making a secure point for the northeast corner post. He also made pillars where support posts that would serve as doorjambs will be placed. One of these was on the east wall and the other was on the north wall. During the previous week stones were collected from the creek bed and placed on pallets for Thom to select foundation stones from. On Saturday a few additional stones were retrieved to fit specific needs that Thom had. photo - stone pillars on foundation May 11, 2002 During the previous week additional work was done by Thom Livingston on the foundation on both the east and north walls. The timbers for the sills were partially placed on the foundation. photo - sill in position June, 2002 By June 8 the sill was in place and studs and framing for the door and window were in place. photo - the east wall showing sill and framing May, 2003 In early May work was done to begin siding the east wall.
