ca 1920s
When the Cromwell family owned the farm beginning in 1920 they established a well-known dairy business. To accomodate their increasing herd of dairy cattle, the area in the northeast corner of the "L" was enclosed. The photo below shows the Cromwell dairy truck with the barn in background. This early 1920s photo clearly shows that the area has not been filled in yet.
