1873 saw the first death, Andrew's, among the siblings who owned the farm.  His death was announced in the Daily True American of March 12, 1873 page 2. He was said to be of Pennington and in his 80th year.

In Andrew's will, his brother Charles and sister Margaret were named as executors.

He made the following bequests:
Nephew John M. Stout - $500.00 to use during his lifetime and then to pass it on to his son Andrew J. Stout, and so on. [Was young Andrew Stout perhaps named for him?]
Sister Amy Fish $250.00
Sister Hannah Fletcher $250.00
Nephew John Fish $250.00
All remaining to his sister Margaret K. Fish - this was essentially his half interest in the farm and everything it contained.  Margaret was now half owner in the farm.

The inventory of the farm was taken on May 22, 1873 by Charles and Margaret K. Fish, as executors of Andrew Fish's estate, along with Aaron L. Laning and William B. Muirheid, two disinterested freeholders.

The list given here does not include the financial obligations mentioned - just possessions.  After each item appears the dollar value assigned by the inventory takers.  Items are given in the order they appear in the original inventory.

It is indicated that Andrew owned 1/2 interest in this property.
