The henhouse is open to visitors for the annual henhouse visit program.  Children and other visitors are able to meet newly hatched chicks, collect eggs from nestboxes, and learn how to candle and grade eggs.

The program runs from 10:00am until 4:00pm.  There is no charge to participate, but collectors will have the option of "paying" for their eggs by helping farmers grind and mix chicken feed.

During this program, the farm's circa 1900 methods will be compared to those of earlier and later periods.
