A Winter's Tale: Storytelling
2009 Date: February 27

Farm families of a century ago passed many a cold winter’s night with a good story shared around a warm fire. Storyteller Kathy Pierce will recreate the experience Friday, Feb. 27, at Howell Living History Farm when she presents “A Winter’s Tale,” at 7:30 p.m..

Ms. Pierce, from Phillipsburg, NJ, has been telling tall tales professionally for 20 years and is a veteran of memorable Howell Farm storytelling events. She has shared bone-chilling yarns at “Tales of Halloween Night,” and recounted unforgettable farming legend at summer storytelling sessions held among the horse stalls.

Friday’s event will take place in the Charles Fish barn, a heated wing of the farm’s visitor center. Admission is free. Doors open at 7:00pm.
